Friday, December 1st

Hey Everyone!

Today we started with our journal (and turned them in).

Then, we worked on an activity for chapter 2.

After, we looked at the word “night” in Act 2 with this graphic organizer >> a-midsummer-nights-dream (pg. 12).

If you need the text, click HERE (for Modern and Shakespeare language).

We started our new Invisibilia – it’s an NPR series about thoughts. The podcast can be found HERE. The transcript can be found HERE. Every Friday I like to have the students look at other types of texts – video, podcast, or graphic novels. Literature is more than just text or more specifically the “boring” texts that students think exist.

The viewing guide (rather listening guide) can be found here>> invisibilia-batman-part-1

Then, if we had time, we started with Act 3.  If you need an extra copy, here you go >> act-iii-quotations-amnd and study-questions-amnd.
