Hey Everyone!

Today we started with our journal.

Then, I gave everyone a chance to study before their Springboard test.

After, students worked on “No Red Ink.”

Tomorrow, is a food and movie day. Students have signed up to bring something to share with the class.

Make sure to bring enough food for 24 people, please.

Hey Everyone!

Today we started with our journals.

Then, we worked on our test review >> Study Guide for Cultural Identity Test.

This is due the day of the test- TOMORROW- and you will get bonus point for completion.

Then, we looked at “Mulan” and how it relates to our “cultural identity” >> Mulan Viewing Activities

Hey Everyone!

Today we went on a fieldtrip – some of us did, and we had a great time. Thank you for being so good on the fieldtrip!

I assigned pages 154-170 in our Springboard book as classwork.

Monday, November 6th

Hey Everyone!

Today we started with our journal and a new story!

After, we discussed what we are thankful for and I shared my news that I am indeed pregnant – due May 2nd.

After, we watched “Blackish” Episode 1 to see how society mocks stereotypes and “Cultural Identity” >> Blackish.

TOMORROW, students will not be at school as it is Election Day.

Also, Wednesday, we are going on the fieldtrip. Students will be dismissed at 9:00 a.m. if they are going on the trip. Bring money for food at the Varsity or a sack lunch. We will be back by 4th period.
