Today we started with our journal.

Hey Everyone!

Today we started with our journal.

After, we watched Act 1 ! I bought the movie, so I am unable to post the movie here. It just confirms what we read during Act 1!

Tuesday, November 28th

Hey Everyone!

We started a Shakespeare PowerPoint >> shakespeare-amnd-ppt and these notes >> intro-to-shakespeare-amsd-ppt-notes.

After, we watched the “History of English in 10 minutes” to help put the English dialect difference in perspective. Click HERE to view it.

After, we starting reading the story. If you would like to read along or read a more modern version to make sure you have understood the text, click HERE. 

As we are reading (and recapping) we are filling in study guide questions >> study-questions-amnd and quote identifications >> act-i-quotations-worksheet-amnd.

Welcome back!

We are starting a new unit on “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Shakespeare.

Thursday, November 16th

Hey Everyone!

Today we started with our journal.

Then, I gave everyone a chance to study before their Springboard test.

After, students worked on “No Red Ink.”

Tomorrow, is a food and movie day. Students have signed up to bring something to share with the class.

Make sure to bring enough food for 24 people, please.

This is due the day of the test- TOMORROW- and you will get bonus point for completion.

Then, we looked at “Mulan” and how it relates to our “cultural identity” >> Mulan Viewing Activities
